IMPORTANT PLOT MOMENTS

PROLOGUE

Due to her exhaustion after travelling, Zel went to her hotel room in Kanai Ward before meeting the other members of the NDA. She met Vivia the next morning underneath the piano, who she started a conversation with because she was worried he was homeless. Vivia lightly criticised her for not being observant enough to see the WDO symbol on his jacket despite being a master detective, but seemed happy that she took the time to talk to him anyway.

CHAPTER 3

They had quietly gotten closer to each other throughout the events of chapters 1 and 2. This chapter was when Zel had realised she had fallen in love with Vivia. She came to this realisation after taking a moment to think about what she would've done if she never got to see Vivia again.

CHAPTER 4

Zel confessed she has feelings for Vivia at the end of this chapter, before everyone got knocked out. She wanted to choose a better moment but at that point she feared for her life and wanted to say something. If it was up to her she wouldn't have told Vivia anything. Of course, she didn't get an immediate answer.

CHAPTER 5/EPILOGUE

While the detectives were locked in Makoto's penthouse, Vivia gave Zel her answer although Zel tried to avoid him. She returned Zel's feelings and they spent most of the time locked in there just quietly sitting together. For Vivia it was less of a confession but an acknowledgement that Zel had affected her too strongly for her feelings to be considered platonic. Their first kiss was initiated by Zel, but it was just a kiss on the cheek. They didn't have their first 'proper' kiss for a little while.They traveled out of Kanai Ward together at the end of the Epilogue. If they're ever called back to Kanai Ward, they tend to take a few extra days there just for themselves.
